"Everyone Has a Chicken Plant in Their Life ...

And Everyone Can Leave It Behind."

FEATURED IN

I Believe All Of Us...

Can perform at a quantum leap level above where we are today. I believe all of our companies and organizations can grow ethically and honorably … and do so for the next 100 years and beyond.

For if this is not our Vision, how do we stand in front of our stakeholders, our team members, our customers, and ask them to follow us. Follow us to what end?

Where exactly are we going and why? What are the reasons others should follow us? This is what you can expect to gain when you engage with me … a Vision and a voice for the future.

My Journey

I went from a chicken chopper to a sales leader of 30,000, company owner, author, and transformational coach. During my journey, I’ve seen market cycles come and go, technology come and go, leaders come and go, and especially companies come and go.

Most companies do not make it. Even those that race to $100M often do not make it. And there are those that do … those unique few that set the standard and raise the bar, those that inspire us with their innovation, courage, and Vision.

Above all else, in the last 45 years, I’ve been a student: a student of culture, philosophy, cycles, leadership, and history. I’ve embraced honor, integrity, ethics, and longevity as the values I model, and I’ve surrounded myself with people who do the same.

1977 – The Beginning

This is what is left of where I started … my home in
Livingston, California, right outside the front gates of Foster Farms, where I spent my days chopping chickens and dreaming of middle management.

I paid $11,000 for this house in 1976 with a first and second mortgage. The following year, my dad took out a third mortgage on it for $5,000 so I could build my first sales team.

1979 – Recruitment at Drake

It was my high school buddy (and fellow chicken chopper) who introduced me to direct sales. The reason I said yes? Foster Farms had just changed their policy, only allowing workers with a four-year degree to advance.

My early “recruiting skills” led me to Drake, where I asked 30 marketing majors: “What if you were to invest 10 hours a week in each of your four years at college and graduate with a residual income of $4,000 a month?” (None of them signed up, but this WAS the spark for The Four Year Career®.)

The Early 1980s

My best friends and I dove into direct sales together and studied under such masters as Kurt Robb and Lou Tice. Here we are headed out on our first cruise.

In 1981, I invested $22,000 in a 10-day coaching certification program with The Pacific Institute and began my transformational coaching career. Coaching individuals on their internal stories and their states of "being" became my superpower. By age 28, I had 30,000 active partners building with me.

1985 - Oxyfresh

I accepted the opportunity to “turn around” a dental & pet care network marketing company called Oxyfresh, based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. When I first joined, it was on life support and technically bankrupt, with almost $1 million in debt and no cash, assets, or credit.

1986 - A New Focus

I leveraged my experience and cash flow to purchase a minority interest in Oxyfresh and grew it into a successful MLM company. Over the next decades, I purchased the entire company.

In 2017, I transitioned Oxyfresh into a direct-to-consumer business. Today it’s on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies.

1992 – SUCCESS Magazine

This was the year SUCCESS magazine featured Oxyfresh on the cover. (That handsome dude in the middle photo is yours truly.)  It was the first time SUCCESS magazine ever featured Network Marketing as its cover story. This issue outsold every issue in the 100-year history of the magazine.

1995 – Wrote Mach2

After doing vision and self-motivation workshops for many years, I finally wrote Mach2 in 1995 as a way for the participants to carry on with the work. Many people still have these “collector’s edition” manuscripts.

The principles inside “Mach2 With Your Hair on Fire” are what launched me to breakout success … and what landed me on that history-making cover of SUCCESS magazine.

Mach2 is like an owner’s manual, for the mind and the motions and the heart, to teach you how to create, on your own, a state of self-motivation.

From global audiences to …

I have roamed the globe sharing the philosophies of vision, authenticity, and the art of manifestation. I’ve spoken to crowds of 10,000 and shared the stage with such legends as Tony Robbins, Sir Richard Branson, Les Brown, John Maxwell, and even Pitbull.

Yet nothing compares to the intimacy and productivity of just being there for one person: to see them, to hear them, to get their soul.

My 5-day retreats are the highest art I have achieved for moving others, where we spend 12 hours a day supporting each other in the breakthroughs of our hearts’ desires.

2008 – Wrote The Four Year Career®

I believe that building a sales team of volunteers may be one of the hardest things in which to achieve lasting success. The Four Year Career® model was another one of my superpowers.

Those who read this book (and share it with their teams) are often forever changed in how they see a career span, wealth building, freedom, and independence.

2014 – Gettin' Hitched

One of the best gifts I have received from the profession is the gift of love. A speaking engagement led me to connect and fall madly in love with my now wife, soul mate, and partner for life, Kimmy. Together, we own two global businesses and run them from our own personal paradise.

Through our work here at RichardBrooke.com, I’ve have made it my mission to share my knowledge on growing ethically with leaders from ALL organizations … because I know that we are all better together!

2016 – Life on Lanai

Kimmy and I bought a home on the Island of Lanai, Hawaii. Dubbed The Private Island, Lanai is 90,000 acres of pure paradise with no stop lights, 29 miles of paved roads, one gas station, and one grocery store; but, of course, there is a Four Seasons and a Nobu.

In contrast to being right outside the gates of the chicken plant, our home sits atop the 18th tee box of the famed Challenge at Manele, with a 180-degree full ocean view. We get to see the sun rise and set on the water.

The Lanai community is like a family. I think everyone here feels how fortunate they are to have Paradise Found.

2020 & 2021 –  Inc. 5000 List

Oxyfresh provides the world’s best fresh for smiles, homes, and pets, and is made Inc. magazine’s
prestigious Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America. This list represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment – its independent small businesses.

Today

Every day, I’m working to change the way people network, lead their teams and achieve success.

By unlocking the power of vision and self-motivation, we can all leave the “chicken plants” in our lives behind and fulfill our innermost dreams. And we can do it with authenticity, honor, and the highest ethics.
